Ocean Grove to Torquay:  Sheltered Western ends of Torquay Beaches best for smaller waves & marginal shelter from South winds, best early for smoother waves.

Anglesea to Apollo Bay:   Sheltered Western ends of beaches like Point Roadknight along with Lorne Beach & Apollo Bay best for smaller waves & marginal shelter from South winds, best early for smoother waves.

Warrnambool to Cape Bridgewater:  East Beach Port Fairy, Warrnambool Beach along with the Western end of Bridgewater Bay for smaller but bumpy waves today on South winds.

Bigger waves on exposed South to West facing beaches to the West of Cape Otway, best avoided by inexperienced surfers.

Remember, catching green (unbroken) waves is often easier on mid to high tides (less nosedives) or if the waves are too big or challenging, surf whitewater waves close to shore, which is often best on mid to low tides in waist deep water.

Click the tide tab on the charts above for more info on tide times & heights today.
